    How to move a bookmark folder in Safari?

    I had my bookmarks sorted alphabetically. But somehow a folder containing many web addresses called Bridge has moved and become attached to the bottom of one called Birding, as a sub-folder.

    When you select a folder to move, click and hold right on the folder icon and be sure to drag straight up or down - moving slightly to the right.

    And I can't seem to put it back. I have tried moving it within the sidebar with the trackpad, but that doesn't work, and actually only confuses things even more. 14" M1 Macbook Pro with Monterey 12.6. How can I do this?
