Later that evening, the crescent moon will remain visible for about 33 minutes after sunset in Makkah’s western horizon, making it possible to sight if the sky is clear of clouds and dust.

Based on this, Ramadan is expected to begin on March 1, which coincides with the first day of the Gregorian month of March.

Al-Misnad also noted that the full moon of Ramadan will occur on Friday, March 14, at 9:56 AM. The month of fasting is expected to last for 29 days, with Eid Al-Fitr falling on Sunday, March 30 according to astronomical calculations.
