    How to Use Bookmarks in Microsoft Word

    This tutorial shows how to use bookmarks in Microsoft Word. In Word, bookmarks can be used as standard placeholders. However, they can also be used to create links from one part of the document to another.

    First, we will create a bookmark.

    Then, we will view the bookmark symbol in the text. Next, we will move to (or jump to) the bookmark. We will also create links from other places in the document to the bookmark.
