How to clear chat history in messenger

Bear in mind that changes will only apply to the device that you're using.

To clear all of your recent searches at once:#

1. From Chats, tap the search bar at the top.
2. Tap Edit in the top right.

3. Next to Recent searches, tap Clear all.
